Readers have been enjoying Larry Coffman's writing for most of his adult life.

He has earned the nickname "The Rock Doc" because of his extensive knowledge of rock & roll music and his academic approach to sharing it. Larry holds certifications from Coursera for "Music of the Beatles," "Music of the Rolling Stones (1962-74)," History of Rock & Roll Part 1" and "History of Rock & Roll Part 2."

Larry earned a degree in journalism from Bradley University and had a career as a daily newspaper reporter, columnist and editor.

A freelance writer since 2003, Larry has consistently demonstrated a way with words to inform and entertain readers

He had a 16-year affiliation with the website of The Acoustic Storm, an internationally syndicated radio program, for which he produced dozens of articles on acoustic rock music.

In an effort to personally get in touch with music, Larry has visited several key locations where rock and pop music history was made.
